I understand that my client is the expert on their own life; this principle is the foundation of my counseling relationships. Through compassionate, curious conversations, we will uncover your underlying motivations and forge a path that works for you to achieve your goals. Making connections between thoughts, feelings, and behavior using person-centered therapeutic approaches is the core of my practice, and I incorporate many components of mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapies. I’ve worked in school, hospital, and private practice settings working with people to overcome obstacles and reach their goals. My style is gentle and direct; I tailor my approach to meet my clients where they are at.

With a compassionate and empathetic approach, I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients. My approach to therapy is informed by a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit, and I am committed to helping you achieve balance and harmony in all aspects of your life. Healing comes from within, and my goal is to help you tap into your inner resources and strengths, so you can overcome any obstacle that comes your way.

Using evidence-based techniques grounded in CBT, I work collaboratively with my clients to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviors that may be hindering their progress. Together, we can develop practical strategies to overcome obstacles and achieve lasting change. In addition to CBT, I also draw upon Psychodynamic theories to explore the unconscious factors that influence our thoughts, emotions, and relationships. By examining early life experiences and unconscious processes, we can gain insight into the root causes of current challenges and work toward healing and growth.

My goal is to create a uniquely secure space for individuals, couples, adult twins, and twin parents presenting with challenges related to anxiety, depression, attachment, partnership, twinship, infertility, pre and postnatal stress, parenthood, grief, and trauma.I will guide you to identify your blocks, understand your relationship to them, and find the tools you need to break through. Each of us has an innate potential for change and growth. I will jump into the work with you and be by your side throughout your discovery. My intention is to bring compassion, truth-telling, and optimism to the process. After nearly two decades as a meditation and mindfulness educator, I believe our connection to our mind and body bring us closer to our inspiration, motivation, and inherent resilience. In our work together we’ll explore this connection to lead you toward the truest and most powerful version of yourself.Our work together will draw from mindfulness and somatic interventions including mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), mindfulness-based somatic therapy (MBST), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), compassion-focused therapies, internal family systems (IFS) and sensorimotor psychotherapy (SP). I am grateful to those who connect me to my purpose, my joy, myself, at each crossroads. I’d be honored to help you navigate your challenges and reconnect you to your wholeness.

My approach is collaborative, gentle, and enthusiastic, meeting my clients exactly where they are with no judgement or hesitation. Each person is unique in their search for help, and my therapeutic practice draws on aspects from psychodynamic, person-centered, narrative, and solution focused brief therapy modalities in order to find what best meets your individual needs. I strive to be a source of non judgmental support; this is, after all, your journey towards understanding, and you are the expert on your own life and experiences. I have made a life in the creative arts by studying the intricacies of human connection. This experience has greatly informed my approach as I believe that we are all searching for something, whether it be love, acceptance, purpose, or moving forward. In working together, we will identify goals that both excite you and encourage you to move forward in your growth and healing.
